Simi Valley, Calif. October 2, 2025 At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, a Nissan Frontier pickup truck crashed into a townhouse at 4363 Eileen St., Simi Valley, prompting a swift response from the Ventura County Fire Department, Simi Valley Police Department, and AMR ambulance services. The incident occurred at the northwest corner of Tapo St. and Eileen St., according to a Ventura County Fire Department update posted on X at 6:10 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find the truck, which had crossed a vacant lot before striking the townhouse, lodged in the structure’s living room and dining area. The adult male driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was still inside and required extrication. Crews stabilized the vehicle before safely removing the driver, who was transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity for further evaluation. Unconfirmed reports from the scene suggest the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol, though Simi Valley police have not officially confirmed this.

Fortunately, the homeowner was in another room on the opposite side of the townhouse at the time of the crash and was unharmed. No other occupants were present in the residence. The cause of the crash and the extent of structural damage to the townhouse are under investigation by the Simi Valley Police Department.
Authorities are advising residents to avoid the area as cleanup and investigation efforts continue.
