On Friday, July 18, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Yosemite Ave. and Mt. Sinai Drive in Simi Valley. The Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD), Simi Valley Police Department (SVPD), and AMR paramedics responded to the scene.
The crash involved a silver or gray Mazda 5 sedan and a dark-colored Tesla, with the Tesla sustaining damage to its driver’s side after being struck by the Mazda. Paramedics evaluated the occupants of both vehicles for possible injuries, but no one required hospital transport. The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation by SVPD, and further details have not been released.
