Simi Valley, Calif. On Saturday, July 19, at approximately 6:17 p.m., a traffic collision occurred on Flanagan Dr., just east of Yosemite Ave., prompting a response from the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD), Simi Valley Police Department (SVPD), and AMR Ventura County. SVPD officers arrived first and found a blue Jeep Liberty that had crashed into a street light, causing the pole to collapse.
The vehicle was occupied by three individuals, all of whom reported no injuries. Emergency responders assessed the scene, and no medical treatment was required. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by SVPD, with no further details released at this time.
