Camarillo, CA – On June 26, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a high-speed pursuit initiated by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Ventura unfolded on the Northbound 101 freeway near Camarillo city limits. The chase began when a suspect, wanted for a road rage incident, fled from law enforcement.
The pursuit ended in Oxnard after CHP officers performed a PIT maneuver at the Rose Avenue exit on the 101 freeway, forcing the suspect’s vehicle to a stop at 461 Raspberry Place. Authorities have not released further details regarding the suspect’s identity or the outcome of the pursuit.
The CHP is continuing to investigate and encourages anyone with information to contact local law enforcement.
