WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (July 27, 2025) Around 7 p.m. Sunday evening, LAPD officers responded to reports of a residential burglary in progress on the 4800 block of Canoga Avenue.
According to eyewitnesses, multiple suspects were seen burglarizing a home and removing several safes before fleeing the scene in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. During the getaway, the suspects noticed a Tesla following them, prompting them to abruptly make a U-turn.
In the process, their vehicle collided with a white Prius before continuing to flee the neighborhood. No injuries were reported at the scene of the crash. LAPD officers are currently conducting an active search for the suspects, who remain at large. The vehicle was also used in a few burglaries in Studio City.
