Woodland Hills, CA – February 26, 2024 – The Amazon Fresh store in Woodland Hills was evacuated at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 26, following reports of a small oven fire in the rear of the building, Royol News Los Angeles reports. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded promptly, containing the blaze before it could spread.
Firefighters discovered the fire within the insulation of an oven, quickly extinguishing it and preventing further damage. No injuries were reported, and the store resumed operations after safety checks. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by LAFD officials.
