Los Angeles On Thursday, October 2, 2025, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Vice Unit conducted a raid at a warehouse behind a shoe store called Cool Kicks LA, located on the 1700 block of Stewart. The operation, which began around 12:30pm and concluded approximately an hour later, targeted suspected counterfeit goods, specifically shoes, being stored and shipped from the location.

The owner Adeel Shams was on a live stream the moment that the police raided the building which is seen in the video above.
During the raid, authorities detained at least 10 individuals as they investigated the warehouse. Among those arrested was Cool Kicks LA owner Adeel Shams, who faces charges related to alleged counterfeiting. Police observed pallets of shoes bearing Nike logos, both inside an unmarked box truck and on a pallet jack at the scene, raising suspicions of counterfeit merchandise.

The LAPD has not released further details about the investigation or the full scope of the alleged counterfeiting operation. The raid marks a significant action in the ongoing effort to combat the distribution of counterfeit goods in Los Angeles.
