RESEDA, CA — On August 22, 2025, at approximately 8:08 PM, the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a tragic vehicle-versus-pedestrian incident at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Corbin Avenue in Reseda. Firefighters arrived to find an unresponsive pedestrian who was not breathing. The pedestrian was getting out of his car when he was struck. Despite efforts, the individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene after being struck by a vehicle.
The Los Angeles County Coroner arrived around 11:00 PM to transport the deceased. The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division, in collaboration with the Valley Traffic Division, is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim or further details about the incident.
