The crash, which also involved a mail truck and a utility pole, disrupted an upcoming scheduled performance tonight.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACOFD) responded to reports of a major collision at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and North Clark Street, finding a dump truck that had plowed into the Whisky a Go Go’s exterior. The truck, carrying a full load, suffered brake failure while descending a hill, striking a mail truck, snapping a utility pole, and crashing into the venue’s facade before catching fire.
