Los Angeles, CA – A tragic hit-and-run incident unfolded on Bundy Drive near the 10 Freeway at 2:09 PM today, resulting in the death of a pedestrian and the arrest of two suspects, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

The incident began when a suspect driving a white jeep rear-ended another car at the intersection of Bundy Drive off ramp from the 10 Freeway. Following the initial collision, the suspect fled the scene, driving erratically in opposing lanes. The suspect’s vehicle then struck and killed a pedestrian on Bundy Drive. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Continuing south on Bundy Drive, the suspect abandoned the vehicle near Pearl Street and Bundy Drive, fleeing on foot. An accomplice in a gray Honda Insight picked up the suspect, but LAPD officers later located the vehicle at Ocean Park Boulevard and Bundy Drive. A felony stop was conducted, and both the driver and the accomplice were taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the full circumstances of the incident. The identity of the deceased pedestrian has not been released pending notification of next of kin. Anyone with information is urged to contact the LAPD.
