3:00pm During the recent rainfall and flooding occurring across Ventura County at the moment, local residents of the Neighborhood took on the flooded streets with fun using Kayaks and surfing the roads. One resident who was interviewed that was seen Kayaking. Stated “we’ve been messing around with the Kayak in the road” with his little brother. The road along Channel Dr & Arbor Ave had been closed due to flooding as well. At approximately 3:30PM, a Nissan Altima spun out along the NB101 & Seaward Ave prompting CHP Ventura to respond. During this time multiple spin out calls were received along the same area today. The Nissan was towed due to significant damage. NB101 & Seaward Ave, Ventura, CA.
