A gang member came into contact with LAPD Topanga division gang unit officers when he took off. Suspect then took off on a stolen bike and officers lost him. During this, an officer to sustained injuries and is being evaluated by LAFD paramedics. Multiple calls are coming in from residence as the suspect is running through their apartment complexes. LAPD arrested the suspect after setting up a perimeter in the area. He was treated and transported to the hospital.
