A skateboarding event turned chaotic at 1st and Hill in Downtown Los Angeles during the Halloween Hellbomb on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Between 7pm and 8pm hundreds of costumed attendees clashed with LAPD officers after an officer was reportedly trampled by the crowd. Objects were thrown at police, who responded with batons and non-lethal rounds. One person in a Halloween costume was seen with a rubber bullet wound while fleeing. A Waymo vehicle was vandalized, and a flamethrower was ignited in the crowd. No arrests or injury counts have been confirmed. The unsanctioned event, starting at 5pm drew massive crowds, per an Instagram post. Investigations are ongoing.
