THOUSAND OAKS, CA — At 9:46 PM on August 28, 2025, the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) responded to a working structure fire in the 1700 block of Blossom Court in Thousand Oaks. Arriving units reported heavy smoke and fire emanating from the garage of a two-story, single-family residence, with possible extension into the home.
Approximately 30 firefighters worked aggressively to knock down the fire, successfully containing it and preventing further spread into the residence. A primary search of the home was completed, confirming all residents had safely evacuated. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
