Bell Canyon, CA — On June 21, 2025, at approximately 9:29 p.m., a BMW traveling at high speed crashed on Bell Canyon Road near Valley Circle, striking a fence and a power pole before coming to a stop. The violent impact detached both passenger-side wheels and scattered debris, including parts of the vehicle’s chassis, hundreds of feet from the crash site, according to authorities.

The vehicle had at least two occupants. The driver was transported to a hospital by another vehicle, while the passenger, evaluated by paramedics at the scene, sustained no major injuries.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and Bell Canyon’s Volunteer Fire Department responded promptly, providing medical support and assisting with traffic control. The crash caused a temporary road closure to facilitate cleanup and assess damage to the affected infrastructure.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Topanga Division is investigating the incident, with preliminary findings suggesting speed as a primary factor. Further details are pending as the investigation continues.
