SUN VALLEY, CA — On Sunday, July 20, 2025, at approximately 1:27 a.m., a white lowrider vehicle crashed into a fuel pump at the Mobil Gas Station located at 8360 Sunland Blvd., causing a hazardous situation. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded promptly to the incident, where they discovered a small gasoline leak from the damaged pump.


According to initial reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the collision. The crash triggered safety concerns due to the fuel spill, but LAFD personnel quickly secured the area to prevent further risk. No injuries were reported, and it remains unclear whether the driver was impaired or what factors contributed to the loss of control.


The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash. The gas station has been temporarily closed for repairs and cleanup.
