Simi Valley, CA – On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred at the top of the Yosemite Avenue exit ramp off the eastbound 118 freeway. The Ventura County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded promptly to the scene.
The collision involved a Nissan Altima and a Jeep Compass. Details regarding the cause of the accident remain unclear at this time. One adult male was transported by AMR ambulance to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. As a standard precaution, the individual was fitted with a cervical collar. It is not yet confirmed whether he was the driver or a passenger in the Jeep Compass.
