At 4:26 PM a reported brushfire came out at the address above. Multiple concerned neighbors called 911. LA County Fire Department and LA City Fire Department were able to locate and quickly contain the fire to a 50 x 50 patch of vegetation on the side of Woolsey Canyon Road. It was reported that an individual hiked way up Woolsey Canyon and was seen near the start of the fire. Footage was captured on camera of the suspect trying to start a second fire down the road on the way to the fire. On our way down, one of our photographers noticed a line of neighbors recording the suspect. It turns out he tried to start an additional fire and neighbors quickly tackled and restrained the suspect. LASD Arrived shortly after and took the suspect into custody. A lighter was found in his pocket, along with another black case with other belongings. This incident is under investigation by LASD.
