At approximately 2 PM in Canoga Park LAPD Topanga Division responded to a call at 20707 Roscoe for a 459 home invasion in progress. A family was found bound and tied up with gray duct inside their townhome. The officers on scene searched the home but did not find anyone else inside. The family was inside the town home when two males in their 20-30s broke in and tied them up after jumping the side fence to gain access. Both of the suspects were armed with hand guns. One of the suspects was described as an 5,10 Indian/middle eastern male with a beard, and brown eyes wearing all tan. The family stated that the suspects left the home and came back a few minutes later before leaving again. They were last seen running off on foot possibly fleeing in a black Tesla. Lafd paramedics arrived on scene to assess the family members. The suspects stole Passports and phones and other items from the location. There were no major injuries reported. Detectives are on scene investigating the incident.
