This afternoon at 4:23pm there was a report of a brushfire in Bell Canyon on Saddlebow Road. The volunteer fire department in Bell Canyon responded to the brushfire along with LA City Fire Department, LA county Fire Department, and Ventura County Fire Department. First arriving fireman, found a large brushfire burning behind a home deep in Bell Canyon. They quickly requested air support from la city and la county fire department. The fire quickly spread and burned 5 acres of brush behind a home. The start of the fire is currently under investigation by the arson unit. The fire is now stopped and camp crews are in the process of mopping up the fire and will be on scene for the next few hours.
